Eating disorder recovery

One plate at a time.

Beautiful Plate is a non-profit organization founded by a high school student. We are committed to helping those in eating disorder recovery by donating hand painted ceramic plates to inpatient eating disorder programs as well as spreading eating disorder awareness. Graduating patients are then gifted these plates to mark their progress in recovery.

For those struggling with disordered eating, food can become mechanical and resented. However, the nourishment of our bodies is beautiful. In food there is creativity and community. These plates help mark the return of beauty back to the table for these patients.
